Landspeeder

The heavy, durable all-rounder. Official copy calls it the ideal vehicle for starting out in the League.

Handling

  • Built for stability and drifting through corners.
  • One of the beefier repulsorcraft and can take hits from other racers.
  • Not built for outright speed; a well-timed Ramjet boost makes up time.
  • Preview and review coverage describe it as car-like.

Signature moves

  • Drift

Named models

  • Kor Sarun: Darc X (Deluxe Edition exclusive)

Notes: Game Informer says landspeeders gave the reviewer the most success. Fuse's Hibi episode 1 covers landspeeders; the page text is introductory only.

Light, fast and fragile. It trades armor for acceleration and agility.

Handling

  • Very little armor, so crashes are easy.
  • Kinetic Burst gives a temporary speed boost at the cost of control and wide turns if used carelessly.
  • Stores energy when braking and releases it as acceleration out of a corner (Fuse Gamescom deep dive, relayed by secondary outlets).
  • Game Informer says bikes can 'stop on a dime and burst forward'.

Signature moves

  • Kinetic Burst
  • Brake-to-boost (stored braking energy)

Named models

  • Kor Sarun: Ciza T (Deluxe Edition exclusive)

Notes: The brake-to-boost detail comes from secondary outlets (swtorstrategies.com, playstationinfo.de) reporting Fuse's Gamescom deep dive. Treat it as reported until Fuse's own text is seen. Hibi describes bikes as 'like concussion missiles with handlebars' in the official episode 2 post. Conflict on speed ranking: PS Blog says bikes are faster than landspeeders; GamingBolt says bikes have the fastest acceleration and skim speeders the highest speed.

Under the Hood with Hibi - Episode 2: Speeder Bikes

STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™ · 28 Aug 2026 · Watch on YouTube

Skim Speeder

A new vehicle type created by Fuse Games with Lucasfilm Games for this game. It sits between the landspeeder and the speeder bike.

Handling

  • Described as a balance of resilience and agility.
  • Slow acceleration, but it can build momentum.
  • Tight corners are taken with Knife Edge, which banks the craft on its side.
  • Hibi says Ramjet and Afterburner timing matters.

Signature moves

  • Knife Edge

Named models

  • Kor Sarun: Rak S (Deluxe Edition exclusive; spelling conflict, see notes)

Notes: SPELLING CONFLICT: Steam, Xbox Store and PlayStation Store write 'Kor Sarun: Rak S'. The official site gameplay-trailer post (starwarsgalacticracer.com/news/official-gameplay-trailer/), NVIDIA, ScreenRant, Escapist and GameTyrant write 'Kor Sarun: Rac S'. Storefronts are the later, purchase-facing text, but neither is proven correct. Check in-game after launch. Speed conflict: GamingBolt says skim speeders have the highest speed with the slowest acceleration; the official starwars.com post only says slow acceleration and does not call them fastest. Fuse says skim speeders are 'not as agile as speeder bikes or as resilient as landspeeders' (Hibi episode 3).

Podracer

© Lucasfilm Ltd. / Fuse Games / Secret Mode · Official press kit

The iconic Star Wars vehicle. Extremely fast, unstable and unforgiving. Podracers cannot be customized.

Handling

  • Fitted with Ramjets for higher speed.
  • Tight turns use the airbrake, which makes velocity drop sharply.
  • Any impact can blow a podracer apart, according to PS Blog hands-on.
  • Single-seat with very high speed and low safety.
  • Online podracer races hold up to 8 players, versus up to 12 for speeders.

Signature moves

  • Airbrake
  • Ramjet

Notes: Sebulba's podracer is reported to spit fire as an ability (PS Blog hands-on, Arcade mode). Game Informer notes the campaign forces podracer events, which can end a run. No podracer model names were found in official material; Kor Sarun vehicles are speeders only. 'Not customizable' and the 8-player online limit come from the developer FAQ on Steam.
